June 6, 1977 - January 14, 2021
To really and truly live is a rare thing, but Harold Dezil did that in just 43 short years. He lived his life to the absolute fullest, he loved his children and he loved his family. With deepest sorrow, we announce that Harold passed away on January 14, in Tampa, Florida. Harold was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti on June 6, 1977 to Violette and Wageston Dezil who eventually immigrated to the United States. Even though Harold spent most of his youth in New York, he decided to leave for warmer climates. He moved to Florida where he settled down and had two children and started several businesses. Harold was not only known for his entrepreneurial spirit but he was also known for his magnetic personality. He brightened any room with his smile and laughter and with his never-ending jokes. He radiated happiness and was probably one of the funniest people you would ever meet. To know Harold was to love him. He was always playing around or breakdancing and of course, he thought he could play basketball. Not only was his spirit amazing, his heart was pure. Even through life’s ups and downs, Harold would be there for you regardless of the circumstances. His heart was generous, spilling over with love. God had blessed him with the gift of life and he didn’t take it for granted. Those that knew Harold, have lost a shining light in their lives. Harold would want everyone to be forgiving, understanding, loving, fearless and to enjoy life. If he were here today he would tell you to not hold onto grudges and to never regret anything that made you smile or laugh. Like all of us, Harold was not perfect but lived his life his way. At the end of the day he lived, loved and partied like a rock star. We will miss but never forget Harold Dezil AKA ‘’Fiesta’’ His spirit will live on forever in our memories and hearts! Harold is survived by his mother and father, his brothers, Wells, Patrick and Ralph , his son, Julian, and daughters, Asia and Kayla, his nieces, many cousins, aunts, uncles, a large loving family and a multitude of friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 26th.
