Robert Penn Gamester, 82, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully May 28th. He was surrounded by his loving family in the last days of his life. Rob had been under the care of LIFEPATH Hospice at the Colonnade at Northdale in North T Read Obituary
Looking back nearly 40 years now, we have fun memories remembering a time we went out dancing at a club called Chevy's and were amazed by Mr. and Mrs. G's grace out on the dance-floor. So lucky to have known Mr. G.

Dear Fran i am so sirry about the loss of Rob, he was a true leader in our class of 1957. I didnt know he had died til couple of days ago. I love the bible verse that should comfort you, " to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."ill always remember him as the president of our class, worked so hard because he loved our class.

Robert was always such a charming guy, with a warm smile and fun loving disposition. It doesn't surprise me that he has been so involved in the communities he was part of. I wouldn't have imagined any less.
And he had a wonderful family surrounding him, and I think his influence, and Fran's, was an integral part of their family's dynamic character.
They were ALL a pleasure to be around.
Fran and Family, so sorry to hear about your loss. Rob, was a mutual school mate at TSHS and was the backbone of our Class of 57. Not only was Rob a classmate, but the two of you were dear friends and I have missed you both so very much over the past years and wish we could have gotten together again.
