We attended church with Ms. Doris at University Church of God for many years. Her faithfulness and joyful spirit despite some hardships in life were an inspiration to us. We always loved spending time with her. Mikel and Donna Davis
To all of the Hill family. I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing and she will always be remembered with love. Sister Hill as we knew her as children who attended the Open Bible Pentecostal Church and were her little friends of Jesus students in the Sunday school class that she taught for many years. She was an amazing woman who worked hard and raised her children as a single parent and made sure that all her children turned out great. She would always listen intently and have a sweet smile on her face when having a conversation with her. I’m very sure that she is celebrating a new life in the hereafter with all of the loved ones who have gone on before her. I’m also very sure she had a glorious reunion the moment that she departed this life. She was an angel and this is how I will remember your beautiful mom forever. Doris was faithful servant of the Lord. She was also very faithful to her church. She loved to prepare meals and serve Friendship Bridge. A beautiful lady and a special friend to me. Love Doris Hill and will always treasure my memories of her.
